Everything about this casserole is quality. It has a lovely smooth enameled finish inside and out. The handles stay cool to the touch when used on the stove top and food cooks evenly. There is a small steam vent in the lid which stops a build up of steam. However I would have liked the casserole to be a little deeper. This saucepan is expensive but would suit anybody who wants cookware to last.
